Working in partnership with commissioners and providers, VANS has launched a coordinated volunteer initiative to help broker individuals to meet demand in health and social care roles and within other statutory service provision throughout the COVID-19 outbreak.
If you are an individual who would like to register to volunteer then click on the following link here and complete the registration form or download the word.doc and email it back to us - firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are a service provider with identified need for support from volunteers, contact the VANS team on 01934 416486 or email email@example.com and let us know what additional support you require, what, if any experience they should have and whether they need to have a current DBS certification.
Accessibility is the word used to describe whether a product (for example, a website, mobile site, digital TV interface or application) can be used by people of all abilities and disabilities.
For instance, a website is accessible if all people, including disabled and elderly people, can use it. We aim to ensure that all of our products are informative and entertaining to use as well as being accessible - this is called usability.
On a website, accessibility depends on how a person's disability affects the way they perceive information on a page and how they navigate within and between pages. You can control the elements that affect accessibility using the links on this page.
