Worlebury Hill Fort Group are working to restore the Iron Age hill fort in Weston Woods. This ancient monument has been designated ‘at risk’ by Historic England as it has been disappearing under brambles and heavy undergrowth. We need more volunteers to help cut back the encroaching vegetation from the 90+ storage pits and the 7 encircling valla (defensive walls) and to restore sea views to both sides of the site for everyone’s enjoyment.
