Laundry

Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR)

Name: Laundry
Organisation: Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR)
Location: Secret World Wildlife Rescue, New Road, East Huntspill, Highbridge, Somerset, TA9 3PZ
Type: Part Time
This role can be tailored around an individual’s availability

Description

The day to day care of the animals generates a large amount of dirty laundry to wash, dry and sort. Although the animal care team do their utmost to keep on top of this duty, the demand does require additional regular help from dedicated laundry volunteers each week. A laundry volunteer helps to keep the washing machines turning over, the laundry hung outside, folding and storing. This ensures that the correct materials are available for the next casualty coming through the doors. Dealing with laundry is an experience and skill that many of us possess. If you have a day, half a day or a few hours free to help, please fill out an application form today.
