Organisation Description
Worlebury Hillfort Group are working to restore the Iron Age hillfort in Weston Woods. This ancient monument has been designated ‘at risk’ by Historic England as it has been disappearing under brambles and heavy undergrowth. We need more volunteers to help cut back overgrowth from storage pits, defensive walls, and to restore sea views to both sides of the site for everyone’s enjoyment.

Anyone who would enjoy spending time outdoors, working with a small and enthusiastic group to clear the undergrowth from the hill fort to restore the archaeology and the natural environment.
