Organisation Description

Girlguiding Somerset North is part of Girlguiding, the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. We cover North Somerset and B&NES local authority areas.

Via our network of local volunteers, we provide a wide range of activities and opportunities for over 3500 girls and young women. Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community. Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

Professional financial experience, possibly in retail banking, which can be adapted to a small charity setting.

Reliable and trustworthy

Ability to assimilate details of Girlguiding’s polices and processes relating to financial matters.

Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain financial terminology to a lay audience
