Time Commitment - Attendance at Board of Trustees meetings - up to 6 meetings a year (mainly weekday evenings) in addition there is the opportunity to become involved in project work supporting the work of the Board of Trustees and the aims of the County.
Scouting is an exciting movement with young people and adventure at its heart, delivered and supported almost exclusively by volunteers.
In the next five years we want even more young people aged 6-25 across the region to enrich their lives through the adventure of Scouting and have ambitious plans to grow and to extend our reach into new areas.
We are looking for trustees (you do not need to have a connection to scouting to be considered) that are able to bring their influence, knowledge and skills to helping us grow and develop our resources; maximise our influence and profile; secure and protect our interests; extend our reach and diversity in new ways; and, leverage sources of public and private sector support and opportunities. Whilst these are unremunerated roles they are highly rewarding.
This is a fantastic opportunity to volunteer your time to support a charity that is having a positive impact on literally thousands of lives.
