Mascot Volunteer

Great Western Air Ambulance Charity

Name: Mascot Volunteer
Organisation: Great Western Air Ambulance Charity
Location: 3rd Floor County Gates, Ashton Road, Bristol, BS3 2JH
Type: Part Time
Events are scheduled on an ongoing basis throughout 2019 and Charlie attends a variety of community events, collections, fetes, fairs and talks, meeting and delighting people of all ages! We don’t ask for any minimum commitment from our volunteers and you can sign up to as many events (or as few!) as you like. Some of our volunteers help twice a week, others twice a year – we are grateful for all the help we receive. Charlie visits some events for a whole day on and off, others for half an hour – timings are ad hoc and can be discussed on a case by case basis depending on what suits you.

Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing volunteers to become our mascot – Charlie the Critical Care Bear – at ad hoc events throughout the year. No experience is necessary - just a willingness to have fun, meet new people and raise money for your local air ambulance!

The costume will be provided by our friendly fundraising team, along with all the information you’ll need. Charlie is usually accompanied by a guide who helps him meet and greet the public, whilst collecting generous donations.
