Backwell Playing Fields Director

Backwell Playing Fields Charity

Name: Backwell Playing Fields Director
Organisation: Backwell Playing Fields Charity
Location: Backwell
Type: Part Time

Description

Do you want to support the “jewel in the crown” of Backwell by joining the board of Backwell Playing Fields Charity?

We’re looking for a couple of volunteer Directors to join the existing team of nine, to ensure we have a strong representation of local residents. In addition, we’re interested in hearing from anyone who would like to support the Fields on an ad hoc basis without committing to a Director role – particularly if you have skills in land law, leases and property licences. This isn’t an extensive list so if you’ve got a skill you’d like to share, please get in touch.

The Director role requires attendance at board meetings 4 or 5 times per year. There are opportunities to get more involved with additional responsibilities but this is not essential. If you’re interested in joining a team who are committed to maintaining the Playing Fields as a recreation ground for the benefit of the village please request more information.
