Poppy Appeal Organiser - Yatton, Cleeve and Claverham Area

Royal British Legion - Yatton Branch

Name: Poppy Appeal Organiser - Yatton, Cleeve and Claverham Area
Organisation: Royal British Legion - Yatton Branch
Location: Yatton
Type: Short Term
This is a short term role to cover the Poppy Appeal

The British Legion are looking for a Poppy Appeal Organiser to co-ordinate the Poppy Appeal for 2020. I know this seems a long way off but the months soon start to fly by and before we know it this year’s Poppy Appeal will be upon us.

The role includes the ordering of Poppies and various other items and for
these to be distributed around the Yatton, Cleeve and Claverham areas.
For a good number of years we have had a stand outside the Co-op in Yatton and this has always been successful covering the two weeks leading up to the Poppy Appeal. Andy has organised the rota with one hour slots and a comfortable seat for those who do not wish to stand for too long.

At the end of the Poppy Appeal all the money is collected and banked and this is carried out over a number of days.

The ability to use a computer would be useful and also a car driver and expenses can be claimed.
