This is a short-term role for four months initially, but hours of work and days are very flexible. The position can be a home working post, and you will be supported and have regular contact with the Director.

We are looking for a Bid Writer to write reports for Grant applications in order to continue to secure funding for our charity. The Wellspring Mental Health Charity works Young People and Adults from all over North Somerset. Wellspring provide affordable, professional counselling for Adults in North Somerset, as well as donation based Counselling and low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to young people age 11 – 18.

The Charity was established in 1994 by local church leaders and GP’s to provide confidential help and support to people in the local community. We offer services to clients regardless of gender, age, ethnic origin or religious beliefs. Clients all self-refer to Wellspring, often after being advised to come to us by their GP.

Wellspring is a community-based charity that has been serving the local community of Nailsea and surrounding North Somerset towns and villages for 25 years. Wellspring provides professional, affordable Counselling for adults and free Counselling and CBT for young people age 11 upwards.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is reliable, committed, positive and a person that really wants to make a difference to the local community. It would be suitable for someone with good organisational skills, experience of report writing and the ability to complete detailed reports with information provided. Wellspring have a wealth of Data, and work with a mixture of clients with various difficulties so being able to help us secure future funding is very important and a very worthwhile job.
