Description

VANS are working with Sirona care & health to mobilise a network of volunteers who will deliver pulse oximeters to patients at home across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

This is part of a national scheme expected to run until December 2021, depending on demand.

Patients are referred by their GP and use the pulse oximeter to monitor their blood oxygen levels over a 2 week period with the aim of detecting early deterioration and hopefully avoid a hospital or ITU admission due to Covid.
