Description
Are you fed up with food wastage? Would you love to see surplus food from supermarkets and small businesses go to a good home? Then becoming a community Fridge volunteers could be just for you!
As a community fridge volunteer you will assist in the stocking and monitoring of the food in the fridge and be a friendly face of welcome for anyone who wishes to access it. Based at the Sovereign Centre in Weston our team of volunteers will also help to promote the culture behind community fridges and ‘bust the myths’ that they are all about food poverty.

Requirements
A firm commitment to reducing food wastage and a desire to help your local community are all that is required for this role. Experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage but not essential.
