We need your help to raise awareness and increase income for The Children’s Air Ambulance by placing collection tins and coordinating the collection of these in your local area.

Either as an individual or as part of a group we would love to help you get involved.

The Children’s Air Ambulance is a unique service, flying critically ill babies and children to hospital for specialist care in the only dedicated neo-natal and pediatric helicopter emergency transfer, working alongside the flying NHS intensive care teams. We transfer to 9 specialist units across the country including the Bristol Children’s hospital.

We receive no government funding; we rely solely on the generosity of the general public and businesses to keep us in the air and flying to save lives.

Organisation Description

What we are looking for
Typically the role could include:
• Placing and servicing collection tins
• Approaching local companies, groups and supporters to have a tin
• Working with local business to coordinate the collection of tins when full
• Communicating with our fundraising team to manage the distribution of tins
This role is very flexible, any time you can give helps us to fund our lifesaving missions. No previous experience is needed. The charity will invest time in processing your application and providing you with training to carry out your role, we ask that you commit to a minimum of 2 hours per month.
In return we'll give you all the information you need to be successful in the role, provide training, support from a local friendly Community Fundraising Executive in your area and the opportunity to gain experience working for a national charity.
