Our volunteers are passionate, enthusiastic, energetic, and get a real sense of satisfaction from helping passengers on their journey. To get the best out of volunteering we recommend a minimum of 4 hours per week in exchange for a range of benefits.

Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but the role particularly suits people with a real interest in aviation, travel, tourism or just meeting new people!

Organisation Description

At Bristol Airport we have operated a volunteer programme for the past 12 years. Our volunteers have a keen interest in aviation, travel, tourism, and meeting new people, and offer guidance to our passengers when using the airport facility. We are keen to engage members of the local community, of all ages and backgrounds with an interest in our sector to volunteer.

Requirements

What we are looking for

- Able to commit to a regular shift (minimum of 4 hours per week); ideally during our peak hours
- Face to face customer service experience
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Have an outgoing and friendly personality
- Must be able to provide references covering the last 5 years
- Hold a valid passport
- Must be fluent in English - both written and orally
- We especially encourage members of the local community over the age of 18
