We are looking to fill a large number of shifts, SEE MONSTER will be open 7 days a week. Although this will be a short-term role during SEE MONSTER’s time here (Summer 2022) it can be a regular post for those who can commit to the project’s timeline. We require volunteers to complete a minimum 1 shift per week of 4 hours.


Ground Floor volunteer – happy to welcome visitors to SEE MONSTER,
assist with queuing, understand routes around SEE MONSTER, walk
around the ground floor checking visitors are happy and helping as
required. Help to gather visitor information as required. Public facing role.

SEE MONSTER will be an exciting part of our community throughout the Summer of 2022 – we need you to be a part of this exciting project.

We will host a day for all potential volunteers to come together at the Tropicana to fully explain the roles and responsibilities and give the opportunity to ask questions and gain all the information required for the roles.

Skills and Qualifications


What we are looking for

The most important qualities required are that you are a happy/smiley person who is comfortable in dealing with the public. You will need to have good communication skills and be attentive and patient with visitors to SEE MONSTER.
Experience in hosting and public facing roles would be desirable.

BSL or a second language would be advantageous.


This will be a fun, interesting and collaborative post which will hopefully leave you feeling part of a team. There will be lots of opportunity to gain information on sustainability and accessibility. Great way to meet people.

The team will be happy to write references if requested.

Great for CV and applications to higher education in the STEM sectors.
