The expected time commitment is 6 Trustee meetings per year with one full day for strategic development, some ad hoc committee work and attend the VANS Annual General Meeting.

Description

We are recruiting a number of voluntary positions to join our Board of Trustees at Voluntary Action North Somerset (VANS).

We need your skills and lived experience to join our Board as a Trustee. Whether you are an experienced Trustee or wanting to take your first step at Board level we want to hear from you. We are looking for applicants who are community minded and come from all backgrounds.

Organisation Description

Our vision places VANS at the heart of the community by providing a trusted, culturally diverse and accessible infrastructure organisation for the community groups and charities in North Somerset.

Why VANS? Established in 1997 as a Local Volunteer Development Agency, we continue to grow in terms of our reach and impact to the organisation we are today. We stand for, develop, and empower the voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise sector (VCFSE) in North Somerset to be at the forefront of positive social change.
