Description
We are currently seeking trustees to strengthen our Board. If you are an enthusiastic individual with an interest in the not-for-profit advice sector, health inequalities and the wider determinants of health this role may be for you. We are particularly seeking people with up to date experience of Governance, Strategic Development, IT, Financial Management, Fundraising or Training. As an organisation committed to equality and diversity, we welcome applications of all ages and career stages and from a variety of backgrounds and we would particularly welcome applications from ethnic minority groups or those with a disability, who are currently under-represented on our Board.
Citizens Advice North Somerset is an established and well regarded local independent charity providing free, impartial and confidential advice and information. We undertake research & campaign work to influence policy makers and to effect change. With a team of 40 paid staff and over 45 volunteers, we deliver services to over 7,500 people living and working in North Somerset.
